concluded its third quarter of fiscal year 2004 on July 14th. Besides the fact that they've posted a net profit of $61M ($19M in the year before) and a revenue of more than $2 billion (+30%), Apple has confirmed the shipment of a G5 iMac in September, which had been rumored before.
All in all, the sales figures for Apple hardware products are pretty impressive overall, given that Apple still has a single digit market share percentage. The Macintosh units sold increased by 14 percent, the iPod sales by 183 percent. Another pretty impressive number is the $60M worth of music sold through the iTunes Music Store, which just recently crossed the 100,000,000 songs sold.
